How to Become an emBARKER's Pet
We'd love to welcome any and all fuzzy paws to emBARKERS, but for your pet's safety and the safety of others, your pet must meet the following qualifications:
- We require a copy of current vaccinations to keep on file. Dogs must be vaccinated against canine parvovirus, canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, Bordetella (kennel cough), and, when necessary, Leptospirosis.
- Your dog must be on a monthly flea control program such as Advantage or Frontline.
- Your dog must wear an identification tag.
- Dogs six months of age or older must be spayed or neutered.
- Dogs attending daycare must be people-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs. To ensure we meet your dog's needs and to make sure they are safe and happy at the Hound Lounge, we want to get to know you and your dog better. Please call to arrange an interview.
Cats:
Cats (petsitting only) must be vaccinated against Feline Enteritis, Feline Upper Respiratory Disease (snuffles or cat flu) and Feline Leukaemia.
